Our shipping methods cater to both local and international deliveries:

 

1. Local Deliveries (Within Pune and PCMC): 

Being based in Pune, we offer home delivery services for our products within Pune and PCMC, ensuring prompt service and convenience. We have partnered with local bulk delivery partners who pick up parcels in the morning and strive to deliver them by the end of the day or, in some cases, by the next day. This partnership allows us to maintain low delivery costs even for long distances.

 

2. Shipping Outside Pune: 

For deliveries outside Pune, we take utmost care in securely packaging the products and utilize reputable courier companies to ensure safe and timely delivery.

 

Delivery Charges

When you opt for Local Home Delivery within our Pune service area, our system will automatically calculate and include the appropriate delivery charges based on your location onto your bill.

For locations outside our immediate delivery area, we will arrange shipping through a courier service. The corresponding charges for this service will be assessed and incorporated once our administrative team has reviewed the order. The final invoice, which will include the courier fees, will be provided to you.

 

Important considerations while ordering via courier

 

1. Weight Calculation: 

The actual weight and volumetric weight of the package will be determined. Volumetric weight is calculated based on the package's dimensions (length, width, height) and a conversion factor. The higher value between the actual weight and volumetric weight will be considered for shipping charges.

Additionally, please bear in mind that when placing courier orders, "packing material weight" needs to be taken into account when calculating the total order weight. Therefore, it's essential to keep a margin for that as well. 

 

2. Choice of Carrier for International Couriers: 

We partner with trusted brands like DHL, FedEx, UPS, and Speed Post for international shipments, allowing customers to choose the carrier that aligns with their budget and timeline requirements.

 

3. Customs Rules for International Shipments: 

We diligently follow the guidelines provided by our partner courier companies, but at times, custom rules may not be entirely clear or may change unexpectedly, which could impact the shipment process. In such cases, customers are advised to stay informed about their country's import regulations and potential additional charges that may be imposed by customs authorities. We strive to ensure a smooth shipping experience, but any customs-related issues will be handled according to the applicable laws and regulations. Please note that IndiEats will not be held responsible for any custom duties or taxes levied by customs officers, as they are beyond our control.

 

Shipping Rates - 

 

Please note that these are standard shipment rates. Confirmation for service and rates for remote locations will be obtained directly from the courier company.

 

For International Courier:

Rates Depend on Destination, Choice of Courier Company and Time of the Year. 

We will check with the courier company for the most accurate and up-to-date  rates once the request is received. 

For orders to be shipped by Speed Post, we add service charges of 500/- (for parcels up to 10 kg) in addition to charges by the Post Office.
