Q: What is IndiEats?

A: IndiEats is a network of home-based chefs who prepare and offer preservative free food products from their own kitchens. We also have offerings from small businesses and farmers to cater to daily needs of our customers. 

 

Q: What are the different varieties available on IndiEats?

A: IndiEats offers a wide range of

a.      Homemade food products (Snacks, Flours, Pickles, Jams, Masale, Instant Mixes etc.)

b.      Products from Small Scale Businesses (Chemical Free Jaggery, Cold Pressed Oil etc.)

c.      Agro products sourced directly from farmers (Millets, Rice, Pulses, Legumes etc.)

Q: How can I place an order on IndiEats?

A: To place an order on IndiEats, you can visit our website www.indieats.in. We offer affordability and convenience by bundling products from multiple vendors into a single delivery, keeping delivery costs minimal.  Also, some of the products are prepared only after receiving an order.

Therefore, it may take approximately 3-4 days for your order to be ready. Pune orders are delivered as soon as they are ready. Courier orders are dispatched on specific days of the week.  (As of now, every Monday and Thursday)

 

Q. What are Pre Booking Batches?

A: Pre-booking batches are scheduled Delivery dates for specific products. 

For perishable items like Gahu Cheek, and for Season Specials such as Undhiyu, customers can book orders in advance when the schedule is declared. 

Agro items are available twice a month through a collaboration with farmers. Orders are collected, and farmers dispatch them together to Pune, ensuring direct sourcing and cost-effective transport. This allows customers access to naturally grown Millets, Rice, Pulses, Legumes, and more at reasonable prices. 

 

Q. Where do you deliver your products?

A: Our shipping methods cater to both local and international deliveries:

a.  Local Deliveries (Within Pune and PCMC)

Being based in Pune, we offer home delivery services for our products within Pune and PCMC, ensuring prompt service and convenience. We have partnered with local bulk delivery partners who pick up parcels in the morning and strive to deliver them by the end of the day or, in some cases, by the next day. This partnership allows us to maintain low delivery costs even for long distances.

b. Shipping Outside Pune

For deliveries outside Pune, we take utmost care in securely packaging the products and utilize reputable courier companies to ensure safe and timely delivery.

 

Q.     What are delivery charges and delivery time?

A.     Please check the following table for all types of delivery methods, Delivery Time and Charges for the same.

 

Q.     What is Return or Exchange policy?

A.     We request our customers to inform us about any issues with the products within 24 hours. We will not be able to take any action if a complaint is logged beyond 24 hours.

In case product is damaged, or there are any issues with the quality – we will refund the amount to customer account within 3 days of receipt of the products

In case the wrong product is shipped – we will arrange to replace it with the correct order.

Please note that it is essential to store the products correctly as we do not use any preservatives in our products. 

Customers from Mumbai or Coastal region are specially advised to store the products with immense care. IndiEats will not be liable for any issues with the product due to incorrect storage.

Even though we take utmost care while box packing the order, IndiEats will not be liable to damage to the products due to mishandling by the courier company.
